Spicy Roasted Chickpeas

Healthy alternative to many crunchy, salty snacks and a great source of carbohydrates and plant-based protein. You can eat it on its own or use it in your salads.


  • 2 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or coconut oil
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder


  1.  Preheat oven to 400°F
  2. Drain & rinse your chickpeas
  3. It is okey if chickpeas is still wet, it will dry out
  4. Toss it on a baking sheet and spread it out in one layer
  5. Bake it for 20 minutes, shaking the pan every now and then
  6. After 20 min, take it out and toss it in a bowl, drizzle it with oil and spices.  Spread it back on the baking sheet.
  7. Bake it for another 15-20 minutes
  8. Take it out when it’s golden
  9. Serve and enjoy immediately for the best results
