If you are on the go, do not forget to pack this easy quick to make homemade protein bars.
8 scoops of chocolate protein powder (isolate)
1 cup dry oats
1/2 cup dry cranberries
1/3 cup natural almond butter or peanut butter
3 tbsp honey
1/2 cup of 1 % milk or unsweetened almond milk
3 tbsp of crushed almonds
Mix together protein powder, oats and cranberries in one bowl.
Mix together wet ingredients – almond butter, honey, almond milk in another bowl.
Combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients. Mix well until dough is solid.
Form into 8 bars and then roll in the crushed almonds to finish.
Place in the fridge for about 30-45 minutes.
Store in the fridge for about a week.
Each bar has approximately 286 calories, 32g protein, 20g carbohydrates, 9g fat, 8g sugar, and 2,5g fiber.
